Craig Hall is home to the department of communication, media, journalism and film; and the department of theatre and dance. Coger Theatre and a Missouri State Tix box office are also located in this building. John Goodman Amphitheatre is located in the plaza adjacent to Craig Hall.

Craig Hall was built in 1967 and was named in honor of Dr. Virginia Craig, head of the department of speech and English for more than 40 years.
