Kentwood Hall

Kentwood Hall, once a landmark hotel in downtown Springfield, is currently home to approximately 200 students. Located at 700 E. St. Louis Street adjacent to the University Plaza complex, this residence hall provides a unique living-learning community, complete with computer lab, study room and the Kentwood Dining Hall.

Throughout its rich history, Kentwood Hall, formally the Kentwood Arms Hotel, housed famous statesmen, entertainers and celebrities. Among the former guests of the Kentwood Arms Hotel are Harry S. Truman and Groucho Marx.
