Carrington Hall, named in honor of Mr. William T. Carrington, the first president of the State Normal School, now Missouri State University, was constructed in 1908 as the first campus building and is located at 901 S. National.
Carrington Hall has served as the university's "administration building" and currently houses many of Missouri State's administrative offices and an auditorium that is used for classes, concerts, films, lectures, and other special events.
